Calderaro Turns Full, Gets a Double

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

In a limped pot in a battle of the blinds, Alexey Rybin checked the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, and James Calderaro bet 200,000, which Rybin called. On the {J-Spades} turn, Rybin checked, and Calderaro bet 500,000. Rybin quickly check-raised to 2,000,000, and Calderaro moved all in.

"How much is it?" Rybin asked, and the shove was determined to be for 6,365,000 in total. Rybin asked for his raise to be pulled in, then studied the remainder of the shove and his stack before announcing the call.

James Calderaro: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Alexey Rybin: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The {2-Hearts} on the river was a blank, and Calderaro's rail went wild as their favorite doubled back into the lead.

Rybin Gets a River Fold From Taylor

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Alexey Rybin
Alexey Rybin

James Calderaro called from the button, Esther Taylor called from the small blind, and Alexey Rybin checked his option.

The flop came {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, and all three players checked. The turn brought the {3-Spades}, and Taylor bet 200,000. Rybin folded, and Calderaro called. The river was the {9-Diamonds}, and Taylor bet again, 700,000 this time. After a few moments, Rybin raised to 2,000,000, and Taylor folded.

E-Tay Doubles Through Caldo

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

James Calderaro raised to 400,000 from the button, and Esther Taylor called from the small blind, and Alexey Rybin called from the big blind.

The flop came down {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Taylor bet the pot. Rybin folded, Calderaro called, and they tabled their hands (even though Taylor was all in for 1,720,000, which was larger than the size of the pot, it was effectively understood that she was all in and he called).

Calderaro: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Taylor: {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Taylor led with trip sevens and held up through the {Q-Spades} turn and {6-Hearts} river to double up.

Calderaro Caught Bluffing Twice

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alexey Rybin raised to 400,000 from the small blind, and James Calderaro called in the big blind.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and both players checked. There was no betting action on the {8-Hearts} turn, either, and Rybin checked the {6-Spades} river. Calderaro bet 600,000, and Rybin took quite some time before calling.

Calderaro showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a bluff, and Rybin had that beat with {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for eights and sevens.

Then, Rybin raised to 400,000 on the button, and Calderaro called in the small blind. The {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop went check-check, and Calderaro bet the {4-Clubs} turn for 500,000, which Rybin called. After the {J-Spades} river, Calderaro made it 1,100,000 to go, and Rybin reluctantly called.

Calderaro was caught bluffing once again with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, and Rybin won the pot with {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a straight. Calderaro joked, "Kings are good."

Calderaro Flushes Rybin's Trips

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alexey Rybin raised to 400,000 from the button, James Calderaro called from the small blind, and Esther Taylor called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of a {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board, where Calderaro bet 800,000. Only Rybin called. The {A-Hearts} river completed the board, and both players checked.

Calderaro showed {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a flush, Rybin showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and mucked, and Calderaro won the pot.

Taylor Chips Up Through Calderaro

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

James Calderaro called from the small blind, and Esther Taylor checked her option.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and Calderaro bet 200,000. Taylor called. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The {10-Spades} fell on the river, and Calderaro threw out a handful of yellow T-100,000 chips, more than the 720,000 already in the pot.

Taylor called and tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the nut straight, which beat Calderado's {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the ten-high straight.

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alexey Rybin raised to 450,000 from the small blind, and James Calderaro called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of a {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} board, where Rybin bet 600,000. Calderaro called. The {5-Clubs} river completed the board, Rybin checked, and Calderaro bet the pot. Rybin folded, and Calderaro took down the pot.

Rybin's Flop and Turn Bet Take It Down

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Alexey Rybin raised to 450,000 from the small blind, and James Calderaro called in the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, both players checked. The {2-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, and Rybin bet 600,000. Calderaro folded.

Soon after, Calderaro raised to 400,000 on the button, and Rybin three-bet the pot to 1,200,000. Calderaro called and quickly folded to a continuation bet of 1,800,000 from Rybin on the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop.
