Docking Gets Rivered by Wang

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Zhaoxing Wang raised to 27,000 and Stephen Docking moved all in for 108,000 in total. "Oh, that's close," Wang said and called after some consideration.

Stephen Docking: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Zhaoxing Wang: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop of {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} changed nothing, nor did the {9-Spades} turn. "Six," Wang said, and sure enough the {6-Spades} fell on the river to eliminate Docking in 29th place.

Hall Has Aces Cracked, Swan Busts to Reichenstein

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

With more than 180,000 in the middle and the flop reading {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Sammy Lafleur got his stack in for 270,000 and Tom Hall quickly called, tabling {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. Lafleur was at risk, and though ahead with {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two pair needed to dodge plenty of outs to remain in contention. He did so with the {6-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Spades} river, and Hall sighed "I even had the clubs."

At the same time at another table, Adam Swan open-shoved from under the gun and Uri Reichenstein flat-called on the button.

Adam Swan: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Uri Reichenstein: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board came {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Swan was eliminated in 28th place. The remaining 27 players will redraw to the last three tables shortly.

Tom Hall Eliminated in 27th Place ($8,428)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

A nightmare at the tables just came to a conclusion for Tom Hall, who started the day as one of the big stacks only to hit the rail in 27th place.

In his final hand, Hall raised to 27,000 and Govert Metaal in the small blind three-bet to 87,000. Hall reraised to 187,000 and Metaal pushed all in. Hall quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Tom Hall: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Govert Metaal: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} flop improved Metaal to a set and the {8-Spades} turn and {A-Spades} river improved the Dutchman further to a flush, eliminating Hall in 27th place for $8,428.

Matthew Brooks Eliminated in 26th Place ($8,428)

In a battle of the blinds, Matthew Brooks shoved from the small blind with {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and James Gilbert called from one seat over with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. The flop of {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} left Brooks in desperate shape, and no runner-runner miracle saved the Belgian after two blanks came up on turn and river.

Popowski Doubles Up

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Zachary Gruneberg was under the gun and raised to 30,000. Patrick Popowski was in late position and three-bet all in for 218,000, and Gruneberg called.

Patrick Popowski: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Zachary Gruneberg: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board was {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and ran out good for Popowski as he made the nut flush on the turn to take it down.
