Zhaoxing Wang raised to 52,000 from the cutoff and Govert Metaal called out of the small blind. There was not much action on the flop with a check, a small continuation bet and a call. The turn was checked before Metaal bet the river for 86,000. Wang raised it up and Metaal asked for a count on the raise, which was 312,000 in total.
Metaal called and quickly mucked his cards once Wang rolled over for a rivered set.
Dan Sindelar raised to 55,000 and Thomas Lutz called in the small blind, as did Bryan Emory in the big blind. Emory bet the flop for 80,000 and Sindelar was the only caller. Both remaining players checked through the on the turn before Emory also checked the river.

Bryan Emory defended his big blind against a raise by Chris Bolek. After the flop was checked through, Emory bet the turn for 50,000 and Bolek called before the river saw Emory with a bet of 130,000. Bolek folded and the pot was awarded to Emory.
One hand later, Emory three-bet to 140,000 out of the small blind against initial raiser Dan Sindelar and the latter called from under the gun. The flop fell and Emory checked, Sindelar bet 90,000, and that forced a fold from Emory to cancel out the profit of the previous hand.
James Gilbert was among the shortest stacks coming back from the break and just open-shoved for his last 295,000. Zhaoxing Wang called in the cutoff and Govert Metaal in the small blind gave it plenty of consideration before letting go. Tobias Peters also forfeited the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Sammy Lafleur limped in from the small blind and James Gilbert checked his option in the big blind. On a flop of , both players invested 30,000 and the turn saw Lafleur check, Gilbert bet 125,000, and Lafleur call. The river completed the board and Lafleur checked.
Gilbert moved all in for around 15 big blinds and Lafleur quickly folded.
After claiming a bigger pot without showdown against chipleader Thomas Lutz, Bryan Emory bumped his stack to more than one million and added some more chips after also taking a pot off Dan Sindelar soon after.
Emory raised to 65,000 on the button and Sindelar called out of the big blind. On the flop, Sindelar checked and called a bet worth 50,000. The on the turn saw both players check and the river completed the board. Sindelar bet 130,000 and Emory cut out a raise to approximately 370,000.
