Hands #6-9: Emory Wins a Big One

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #6: Zhaoxing Wang limped from the small blind, and Chris Bolek checked his option from the big blind. On the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Wang bet 50,000, and Bolek called before the {J-Hearts} turn was checked through. On the {A-Spades} river, Wang checked and folded when Bolek bet 125,000.

Hand #7: Govert Metaal raised to 105,000 and claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #8: Metaal made it 105,000 to go, and Bolek three-bet to 240,000 on the button. Metaal moved all in, and that forced a quick fold from Bolek.

Hand #9: Bryan Emory raised to 100,000, and Thomas Lutz defended his big blind. The flop came {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and both players checked. After the {6-Diamonds} turn, Lutz bet 95,000, then called a raise to 225,000 by Emory. The {7-Clubs} river completed the board, and Lutz checked. Emory made it 325,000 to go, and Lutz reluctantly called.

Emory turned over {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the nut flush and claimed a big pot to further cement his lead.
