Gilbert Doubles Through Wang

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

James Gilbert was among the shortest stacks coming back from the break and just open-shoved for his last 295,000. Zhaoxing Wang called in the cutoff and Govert Metaal in the small blind gave it plenty of consideration before letting go. Tobias Peters also forfeited the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Gilbert: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Wang: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The board came {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Gilbert doubled. Over on the other table, Jacob Bazeley and Mike Linster talked about the hand and Gilbert joked, "Don't sound too excited over there, Mike."

Bazeley added, "I heard him clapping."
