The next hand, Monnette raised to 15,000, and Dario Sammartino defended his big blind. Again, both players drew one, and Sammartino checked. Monnette bet 21,500, and Sammartino called. Monnette briefly showed his cards, though Sammartino tabled 
as the winning hand to scoop the pot.
