Lisandro Takes from Volpe

Level 3 : 250/500, 125 ante

Darren Elias raised to 1,500 from the cutoff, and Anthony Zinno called on the button. Jeff Lisandro called in the small blind before Jason Mercier three-bet to 9,600 in the big blind. That forced folds from all, while Paul Volpe was waiting to get dealt in.

Volpe's first hand saw him raise to 1,300, and Lisandro three-bet to 4,200 on the button. Once it folded back to Volpe, he called and drew one. Lisandro stood pat, and Volpe studied his opponent for some time before betting 18,000. Lisandro called after some brief consideration, and Volpe showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}. Lisandro had that beat with {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and claimed the pot.
