Moss Catches Up on Dickson

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

Frederic Moss: {X-}{X-} / {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {X-}
Randy Ohel: {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Randy Ohel almost scooped Frederic Moss but eventually had to settle for half the pot with a set of aces while Moss had a low, flashing {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a missed straight draw as well.

The game then switched to Hold'em and Moss claimed a bigger pot off Adam Dickson, before the duo traded the chips back.

Hold'em

Pouria Amiraslani raised from under the gun and Dickson in late position as well as Moss in the small blind called. On the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Moss checked and Amiraslani bet, which both Dickson and Moss called. The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked and Dickson bet the {Q-Clubs} river. Only Moss called and then mucked when Dickson showed {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for trips queens.

"Lucky river," Moss said and Dickson replied "you take one, I take one." While Dickson remains in the prime position, Moss is slowly but surely catching up on him. The table also features Daniel Negreanu with a stack just shy of the average.
