Ausmus Wins Flip After Deeb Calls Clock

Level 9 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Shaun Deeb opened 30,000 under the gun and Grant Dekker called in the small blind before Jeremy Ausmus raised 215,000 from the big blind, leaving just 15,000 behind. Deeb eyed both Dekker's and Ausmus' stack before announcing all-in. Dekker snap-folded, and Deeb prematurely opened his hand. As Ausmus was thinking, Deeb instantly called the clock. The floor came over and gave Ausmus thirty seconds to act, and Ausmus made the call.

Jeremy Ausmus: AQ All in
Shaun Deeb: JJ

It was a classic race and the Q22 flop gave Ausmus the lead with a pair of queens. The 10 turn and 3 river changed nothing as Deeb paid the bet.

Nguyen Five-Bet Shoves

Level 9 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Justin Tsui raised from the button to 30,000. Hai Nguyen then three-bet out of the big blind to 80,000 and the action was back on Tsui. Tsui chose to four-bet to 185,000 and was met by an instant shove all in from Nguyen for roughly 480,000. Tsui snap-folded and Nguyen pulled in a healthy-sized pot without even seeing a flop.

Armbrust Bets Flop and Turn

Level 8 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

John Armbrust opened 25,000 under the gun and Lester Edoc defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of A64, and Edoc check-called a bet of 30,000.

When the 3 hit the turn, Edoc checked and Armbrust continued his aggression as he tossed 65,000 across the line and that was good enough to drag the pot.

Ogura Gets a Knockout with Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was picked up in a three-way single-raised pot between the big blind, Chris Fraser from under the gun, and Takashi Ogura from the hijack.

The board read Q96 when Fraser continued for 30,000. Ogura decided to raised to 65,000, the big blind folded, and Fraser jammed for 155,000 total which Ogura snap-called.

Chris Fraser: 1010 All in
Takashi Ogura: AA

The 28 runout was no help to Fraser as he hit the rail.
