Moura Gets Latinois to Fold

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Jason Sagle made it 2,200,000 on the button and Gabriel Moura three-bet to 6,500,000 in the small blind. Jonathan Tamayo in the big blind folded and so did Sagle, as the Brazilian rail started chanting again.

Malo Latinois then raised to 2,000,000 from under the gun soon after to claim the blinds and big blind ante.

Gabriel Moura joined the raising squad for the minimum in the next hand and Latinois in the big blind was the only caller.

The J94 flop was checked by Latinois and Moura continued for 1,500,000. Latinois called.

Both players checked the Q turn and the 10 came on the river. Latinois checked again and Moura now fired a bet worth 6,300,000. That sent his opponent deep into the tank and Latinois eventually settled for a fold.

Brian Kim
Brian Kim

Yegor Moroz limped in from the small blind and called when Brian Kim made it 3,500,000 from the big blind. The action was checked to the river for the final board to show AK8Q5. Moroz led out for 2,200,000, and Kim made it 8,500,000.

Moroz tanked for several minutes before calling with A9 for top pair. Kim tabled K5 for a rivered two pair as he took down the big pot.

On the next deal, Joe Serock opened to 2,000,000 from early position and forced out the remaining players.

The following hand, Serock made it 2,000,000 first to act and was called by Brian Kim from the button. Kristen Foxen also defended her big blind and they went three-handed to the J94 flop. Serock continued for 1,900,000 and both opponents folded as Serock took the pot with QQ.

Kim then kicked off the action with a raise to 2,1000,000 from the cutoff and Serock called from the big blind. Serock check-called for 1,800,000 on the 963 flop. The J turn went check-check for the 10 to complete the board. Serock checked for a third time and Kim checked his XxXx to claim the pot.

Jonathan Tamayo
Jonathan Tamayo

Jonathan Tamayo raised to 2,000,000 and Boris Angelov called in the big blind, then led the 753 flop for 1,500,000. Tamayo called and Angelov bet again the 8 turn for 2,800,000 to pick up another call from Tamayo.

That led them to the 3 on the river on which Angelov made it 3,500,000 to go. Tamayo called and won the pot with the 99, as Angelov had bluffed with Q6 for a missed straight draw.

Foxen Takes Small Lead; Coelho Goes For It All

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Kristen Foxen opened the action with a raise to 2,000,000 on the button, being looked up by Jason James in the big blind. The flop was a monotone QJ5, on which Foxen continued for 1,500,000.

James check-called to the Q turn, which was checked through. The 4 river then completed the board. James checked, after which Foxen fired a bet of 5,000,000. James quickly forfeited the pot as Foxen added more chips to her stack.

A couple of hands later, Brian Kim raised to 2,000,000 in early position and was called by James on the button. Diogo Coelho then jammed all in for 8,300,000 in the big blind.

Both players folded, sending a few chips to the short-stacked Coelho.
