Gonzalez and Kim Take It Preflop; Astedt Wins on the River

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Brian Kim raised to 2,200,000 on the button. Andres Gonzalez then three-bet to 6,000,000 in the small bind and received two quick folds to take the pot.

A couple of hands later, Diogo Coelho raised to 2,000,000 in early position and took it down as the rest of the table folded.

On the next deal, Jason James limped in from the small blind and Niklas Astedt checked in the big blind. The 28Q flop saw James bet the minimum of 1,000,000, which Astedt raised to 3,300,000.

James called for the 9 to appear on the turn. James checked to Astedt, who opted to check back. The Q river completed the board and James checked once more.

Astedt bet 4,500,000 and won the pot when James quickly mucked his cards.

Five Hands, No Flops

Level 37 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Joe Serock opened to 2,000,000 from the cutoff before Jason James three-bet to 6,000,000 from the button. The blinds got out of the way, and so did Serock.

Brian Kim raised to 2,100,000 from under the gun and took down the pot.

On the next deal, Serock made it 2,000,000 from middle position before Niklas Astedt three-bet 6,000,000 from the cutoff, which folded out the remaining players, including Serock.

The following hand, Serock continued to make use of his big stack and opened to 2,000,000 once again. This time, there was no three-bet from an opponent and added to his stack after the players returned their cards to the dealer.

Diogo Coelho raised to 2,000,000 from the hijack and folded out the button and the blinds.

Full House and Straight Check Down

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

It folded to Kristen Foxen in the small blind. She raised to 3,500,000 and Joe Serock gave up his big blind

One hand later, Niklas Astedt raised to 2,000,000 under the gun and Serock three-bet to 9,000,000 in the small blind. Astedt quickly let it go as Serock regained the chips he had lost in the previous hand.

On the next deal, Diogo Coelho opened the action with a raise to 2,000,000 as first to act. Yegor Moroz called in the seat next over and so did Niklas Astedt in the big blind.

The flop saw QJQ hit the table. The action checked to Moroz, who bet 2,000,000. Astedt instantly folded but Coelho stuck around and called to see the A turn.

The preflop raiser checked again, and this time Moroz checked back. On the subsequent A river, both players checked again. Coelho tabled K10 for a turned straight but lost against the JJ of Moroz, who had flopped a boat.
