Jason Sagle opened to 800,000 from the cutoff and Brandon Cantu defended in the big blind, leaving himself just 525,000 behind.

Cantu moved his remaining chips into the middle following the 2♠K♦J♥ flop and was quickly put at risk by Sagle.

Daniel Erlandsson raised to 600,000 from middle position and Kevin Theodore defended his big blind. The flop fell Q♦K♦8♥, on which Theodore checked to Erlandsson.

Erlandsson continued for 550,000 before Theodore jammed all in for 2,475,000. Erlandsson immediately called and the cards were tabled.

Theodore was up against Erlandsson's rockets, but he shot ahead when he made two pair on the 6♣ turn.

Blind-on-blind Malo Latinois and Naor Slobodskoy had put in 800,000 chips each preflop when Latinois checked from the small blind on a flop of 2♠9♣3♠.

Slobodskoy then bet 450,000 from the big blind. Latinois raised to 1,200,000, and Slobodskoy tanked for a while before pushing all in for around 4,500,000 chips.

Latinois snap called with the covering stack, creating a showdown.

Slobodskoy's overpair was up against the overcards and flush draw of Latinois.

Latinois paired up on the Q♦ turn, leaving Slobodskoy with one out in the deck. The 9♥ river did not bring it, however, eliminating Slobodskoy in 40th place.

Erlandsson instantly called once the action was back on him, and the cards were revealed to the cameras.

Eliott Kessas opened to 600,0000 from middle position and was called by Brian Rast on the button before Shundan Xiao three-bet to 2,500,000 from the small blind. Kessas called ahead of Rast getting out of the way.

On the J♣8♣4♥ flop, Xiao moved all in and Kessas called off his stack of 5,700,000.

Yegor Moroz raised to 600,000 in middle position, Jordan Griff three-bet to 1,500,000 in the hijack, and Moroz called.

The flop came 4♣3♣2♥ and Moroz checked to Griff who bet 750,000. Moroz called and the A♠ fell on the turn.

Griff then bet 1,000,000 and Moroz called again. The J♣ fell on the river and Moroz led out for 1,200,000.

Griff folded and Moroz's rail exploded in celebration. "Yegor, Yegor, Yegor. Is that what you want," they chanted as Moroz took the pot.

Jason James opened to 600,000 from middle position and was called by Luis Vazquez on the button. Jason Hoffman then three-bet to 2,200,000 out of the small blind only to see James four-bet to 14,225,000. Vazquez got out of the way but Hoffman called off for less to put himself at risk.

Hoffman was in excellent position to score a full double, that is until the flop came 9♣Q♣A♥. The A♠ turn did give him some additional outs, though he was unable to connect on the J♠ river to send a huge pot to James while forcing Hoffman out in 42nd place courtesy of a bad beat.
