Garcia Finds Aces But Chops Against Gonzalez's Queens

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Andres Gonzalez
Andres Gonzalez

Adrian Garcia opened to 240,000 from under the gun and Jason Sagle called from early position. Andres Gonzalez then three-bet to 900,000 from middle position, then Garcia shoved for around 2,000,000 once it folded back to him. Sagle folded, but Gonzalez called.

Adrian Garcia: AA All in
Andres Gonzalez: QQ

Garcia had found the perfect spot to double up and his pocket aces remained in the lead on the 967 flop. A 10 on the turn did bring some chop outs, and the 8 river gave both players a straight, which meant they chopped the pot.

Gary Dishongh opened to 260,000 from the cutoff and was called by David Dibernardi in the big blind.

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Diogo Coelho

Marc Wolpert raised to 250,000 under the gun before Justin Vaysman three-bet to 725,000 in early position. Diogo Coelho then four-bet to 1,425,000 in middle position, Wolpert folded, while Vaysman pulled his hood over his head and called.

The flop came 9J2 and Coelho bet 720,000. Vaysman took a few minutes before calling to the K turn.

Coelho then bet 1,560,000, sending Vaysman deep into the tank once again. He took nearly five minutes before folding.

"Show the bluff for the cameras," tablemate Naor Slobodskoy told Coelho as a large crowd gathered around the table while the hand was in progress. Coelho didn't oblige and returned his cards face down.

Morris Dodges the River to Leave Dibernardi on Fumes

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

David Dibernardi moved all in for 1,315,000 in early position and Arthur Morris called for 1,190,000 on the button.

Arthur Morris: AK All in
David Dibernardi: AJ

Morris hit two pair on the K22 flop to take a big lead in the pot, but Dibernardi picked up straight and flush draws on the Q turn.

The river was the 4 and Dibernardi missed everything as he handed over most of his stack to Morris.

Garcia Stacks Hamilton

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Joe Hamilton
Joe Hamilton

Adrian Garcia opened from middle position to 240,000 and Joe Hamilton shoved from the small blind for around 1,100,000. The big blind folded, and Garcia made the call which put Hamilton at risk.

Joe Hamilton: 77 All in
Adrian Garcia: AK

Hamilton's rail exploded with encouragement in this flip situation.

"Seven, seven!" they shouted.

There wasn't a seven on the flop but instead it improved Garcia to trips as the dealer put 10KK onto the baize. More cries of "seven" came from the rail but neither the 6 turn nor Q river could save Hamilton from elimination.

Big Slick Does the Trick For Wolpert

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Giovanni Zanette raised from middle position and was three-bet top 725,000 by Marc Wolpert on the button. Action folded back to Zanette, who called.

Both players checked on the Q3A flop and then Zanette check-called a 525,000 bet from Wolpert on the 5 turn.

The 7 completed the board and Zanette checked once more. Wolpert put an even million into the middle and Zanette decided to look Wolpert up after a bit of thought.

Wolpert tabled AK for top pair, top kicker and Zanette flung his hand into the muck.

Cruel River for Mercer

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Bradley Mercer jammed for 1,270,000 from the button, and he was called by Charles Alex-Barton in the big blind.

Bradley Mercer: AK All in
Charles Alex-Barton: K9

Both players hit top pair on the 86K, but Mercer was still in the lead.

He had to avoid clubs, and that's what happened with the 3 turn. But the Q river completed Alex-Barton's flush and Mercer was eliminated.
