Doyle Does Not Suit Remitio

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Francis Cagney moved all in for his last 165,000 from the small blind and was called by Joshua Remitio in the big blind.

Francis Cagney: 93 All in
Joshua Remitio: 102

Remitio was a favorite with the suited doyle, that is until the flop came 897. Remitio could not make a straight or better pair on either the K turn or Q as Cagney doubled up with a small flush to get some chips back.

Angelov Gets Another Knockout

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Boris Angelov and Troy McLean went to a flop of 56J where McLean got his last 350,000 in the middle from the big blind and Angelov put him at risk on the button.

Troy McLean: 103 All in
Boris Angelov: AA

McLean had a flush draw against Angelov's aces as the A turn improved Angelov to a set. The J turn gave Angelov a full house and McLean was sent to the rail.

"He doesn't need any more chips," a tablemate said as Angelov raked in the pot.

Tigner Runs Into Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ryan Tigner got his short stack in from the button with the AQ only to find himself up against the AA of Casey Stewart in the big blind.

The 8324 turn provided some chop outs as a five would have made both players a wheel. However, the J river was a blank and that sent Tigner out next.

Loni Hui
Loni Hui

Loni Hui moved all in for 360,000 from the small blind and was called by Marcelo Giordano in the big blind.

Loni Hui: AJAll in
Marcelo Giordano: QQ

The 26A flop was looking hopeful for Hui to get another double as she picked up top pair.

She was holding strong on the 5 turn.

This all changed on the Q river when Giordano stole the pot with a set of queens, eliminating Hui from the tournament, and taking the table chip lead.

Ding Flops a Flush and Sends Gaskari to the Rail

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Biao Ding has raised from under the gun with Mir Kohyar Gaskari in the hijack and Kevin Davis in the big blind seeing a flop.

The flop came QK6 which checked to Gaskari, who bet 40,000. Davis then made it 125,000, Ding called, and Gaskari shoved for 750,000. Davis and Ding both called.

A 6 on the turn paired the board which Davis checked, then Ding bet 500,000. Davis quickly folded.

Mir Kohyar Gaskari: KQ All in
Biao Ding: A3

Ding had flopped the nuts but the paired board on the turn meant Gaskari had some outs. Before the dealer put out the river, Davis said that he also had a flush but had to fold to Ding's bet.

Gaskari was looking for the board to pair again on the river but the 9 river wasn't what he needed, which meant he was eliminated and Ding accumulated more chips.

Al-Shanti's Jacks are Enough

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 50,000 from early position and was three-bet to 155,000 by Abdullah Al-Shanti in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Ponakovs, who called.

Ponakovs check-called a 70,000 bet from Al-Shanti on the 2K6 flop and then both players checked down on the Q turn and 9 river.

Al-Shanti turned over JJ and Ponakovs mucked, much to the relief of Al-Shanti.
