Safar Shoves the River on Sopotnytskyi

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of J65, Taras Sopotnytskyi bet 275,000 from the small blind and Pedro Safar called in middle position.

Both players checked the 8 turn and the 7 fell on the river. Sopotnytskyi then bet another 475,000.

Safar spent a few moments shuffling around his chips before sliding them all forward, a bet totaling 1,255,000. Sopotnytskyi instantly leaned back in his seat and let out a deep sigh as he stared at the ceiling.

He eventually turned back toward the table and buried his head in his hands before folding as Safar took down the pot.
