Berry Wins Huge Pot With Straight Flush

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Hector Berry
Hector Berry

Keith McKuin raised preflop from under the gun and was three-bet by Hector Berry in the seat next to him. McKuin called to create a pot of 150,000 chips and see the flop of QJ5.

McKuin checked, Berry continued for 55,000 chips, and McKuin called. Both players checked on the 10 turn before the 9 river completed the board.

McKuin checked for a third time, but Berry piled in a massive bet of 325,000 chips. McKuin spent some minutes in the tank before calling off about half his stack.

Berry opened up KQ for a rivered straight flush, sending McKuin's cards into the muck.

Oman Leads the River

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tyler Hatchel raised from middle position to 20,000 and got called by Danny Tang in the cutoff & Carl Oman in the big blind.

On the 5AJ flop, Oman checked, Hatchel bet 15,000, Tang folded, and Oman called.

A 7 hit the turn and after Oman checked, Hatchel made another bet of 45,000. Once again, Oman called.

When the 4 landed on the river, Oman switched up his strategy and led for 75,000, which sent Hatchel into the tank. After some time considering, Hatchel elected to fold, and Oman was pushed the pot.

Kay Calls it Off vs Little

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

Action came in on the river with a completed board showing 95388. The pot had around 135,000 in it. From the big blind, Jonathan Little put in a stack of big chips to force Josh Kay all in.

Kay, who was on the button, thought it out for several moments with his tournament life on the line. Eventually he called.

Little tabled the J8 for trips which crushed the 6x6x of Kay who was eliminated.

Ding Applies Max Pressure to Aldemir

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Koray Aldemir bet 36,000 from the hijack on a flop of 8102 and Biao Ding came back with a raise to 100,000 in the big blind.

Aldemir called and the J fell on the turn. Ding then bet 90,000 and Aldemir called.

The river was the 10 and Ding moved all in. Aldemir ripped off his sunglasses and buried his face in his hands as he considered the decision for his last 470,000 for several minutes. He eventually folded and Ding allowed him to choose one of his cards. Aldemir pointed at one of them and Ding flipped over the 8 as he took the pot.
