Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

A player in early position raised to 4,000 and Frank Funaro called in the cutoff.

The flop came 56J and the early-position player continued for 6,500. Funaro called and faced another bet of 9,000 on the 7 turn.

Funaro this time came back with a raise to 25,000 and his opponent called. The river was the 9 and Funaro moved all in, having his opponent's remaining 50,000 well covered.

The early-position player took around a minute before folding as Funaro took down the pot.

2017 Main Event winner Scott Blumstein limped the small blind and the big blind checked their option.

The AJJ flop hit the felt, and Blumstein led for 2,000. The big blind stuck around with a call.

When the 6 fell on the turn, Blumstein continued for 7,000 and that was enough to drag the pot.

Kamalov Rivers a Flush

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded to Dimitrii Kamalov in middle position, and he raised to 5,000. Once it folded to Phil Galfond on the button, he made the call.

The flop came J62 and both players checked to see a turn.

After the Q on the turn, Kamalov checked to Galfond, who bet out 6,000. Kamalov called to see the river.

The river was the 7 and both players checked.

Kamalov quickly turned over K4 for a flush, and Galfond mucked his hand, giving the pot to Kamalov.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Zyad Qasem
Zyad Qasem

Zyad Qasem was in a great spot to take out an at risk opponent in a preflop all in.

At risk player: 7x7x All in
Zyad Qasem: KxKx

The board ran out 5x10x9x6xAx to whiff the at risk player and create an empty chasm in seat 9 where he had been sitting and give Qasem a boost to his stack.

Lopes Chips Up

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Bruno Lopes opened to 4,000 from under the gun and then called after a player three-bet to 14,000 from middle position.

Action checked through the Q410 flop to the 2 turn at which point both players checked once more.

The 9 river saw Lopes bet out 8,000 and that alone was enough to get a fold from his opponent to keep the Frenchman chipping up late in the day.
