Harmon Having Fun While Winning

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

David Harmon is clearly enjoying his Day 1d experience if two straight hands are an indication.

He sniffed out a bluff in the first hand, even needled his opponent on the river.

“Come on, find the bluff,” Harmon said with a chuckle.

And that’s what his opponent did by firing into the pot with air, only to be snap-called by Harmon, who had third pair on the board. And it was the winner.

“You tried to bluff me,” Harmon said to his opponent across the table.

On the very next hand, Harmon, who was in the small blind, called a button raise of 1,000. The player in the big blind came along to bring about three-way action.

The dealer fanned K55 on the board, and Harmon and the player in the big blind checked. The player on the button bet, and Harmon called while the player in the big blind folded.

The K showed up on the turn, and Harmon checked. The player on the button bet 2,100, which drew a response from Harmon.

“You have aces?” Harmon asked, and then he quickly called.

The dealer placed 8 on the river, and the action went consecutive checks.

“I got it, I got it,” Harmon said as he tabled 53.

The player on the button immediately mucked his hand.

Bourgeois Takes From Ohanyan

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Hrachya Ohanyan opened from middle position to 1,000 and was three-bet by Blaise Bourgeois on the button to 3,000. Ohanyan called and they headed to the flop.

The flop of A86 saw Ohanyan check-call a bet of 2,500 from Bourgeois.

Ohanyan checked again when the Q appeared on the turn. Bourgeois bet 9,000 and after a few moments, Ohanyan called.

The J on the river got checked through, and Ohanyan turned over A4 for a pair of aces. Bourgeois had that beat with A9.

Berkey Chips Up With Big Slick

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Matt Berkey in the small blind had three-bet the player in the hijack, leading to a pot of 9,000 chips in the middle.

Berkey then bet 6,000 on the 9A9 flop and saw his opponent call. The Q turn and 3 river were checked through, and Berkey won the pot with his AK.

Grandmaison Muscles a Pot; Shows a Bluff

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A player in middle position raised to 1,200 and was called by another player from directly behind. Adam Grandmaison squeezed to 4,000 from the hijack. The initial raiser folded, but the flatter called again for a heads-up pot.

It was checked to Grandmaison on the 298 flop and he announced he was all in. His opponent folded and Grandmaison showed KJ as he collected the pot.

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the A10344 river, Cherish Andrews bet 9,000 when checked to. Her opponent in the small blind reluctantly called and Andrews showed the A10 for aces and tens. That was no good, as she was up against 65 for a turned flush to drop below the starting stack.

Lin Puts Opponent All In

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Arriving on a completed board of 36K87 with 17,000 chips in the middle, Hua-Wei Lin jammed all in from early position, covering her opponent in the cutoff who had 16,000 chips left.

The cutoff spent some time in the tank, but eventually folded as he left himself with over 40 big blinds.
