Hands #162-164: Astedt and Griff Trade Blows

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Niklas Astedt
Niklas Astedt

Hand #162: Jordan Griff raised to 7,000,000 on the button with Q2 and Niklas Astedt called in the big blind. The J102 flop was checked by Astedt and Griff continued for 8,000,000. Astedt called and they headed to the 4 turn. Once more, Astedt checked and Griff fired a second barrel for 20,000,000 for Astedt to call.

The J river was checked and Astedt won the pot with the 106.

Hand #163: Astedt raised to 10,000,000 out of the small blind and Griff three-bet to 28,000,000 in the big blind. The call by Astedt after brief consideration followed and the second large pot to kick off the day led to the 965 flop. Astedt checked his option to Griff, who checked it back to the 6 turn.

Another check by Astedt triggered a delayed continuation bet of Griff worth 22,000,000 and Astedt called rather quickly this time.

Both players checked the 4 river and Astedt showed A8. Griff, though, had 22 to win the pot with two pair.

Hand #164: Griff opened to 10,000,000 in the small blind and Jonathan Tamayo forfeited his big blind.
