The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.

Team Hall Takes a Bite out of Team Bagin

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Joshua Hopkins raised in early position to 160,000 preflop, and it started a chain reaction.

Sheraton Hall, who was to Hopkins’ immediate left, three-bet to 410,000. Action folded to Kevin Bagin on the button, and he peeked down at his cards and four-bet to 1,000,000.

The players in the blinds immediately folded, and then Hopkins followed.

Hall looked at Bagin’s bet, and then removed her ear buds. She stared at Bagin, who was motionless. Hall took a while to consider the situation, and a player at the table called clock.

As the tournament director counted down, Hall responded to Bagin’s four-bet by moving all in. Bagin called to put Team Hall at risk.

Sheraton Hall: AK All in
Kevin Bagin: QQ

The dealer fanned 64J on the flop, giving Hall a flush draw to go along with her two over cards. The 8 on the turn gave her the second nut flush, and the K on the river didn’t change the outcome of the hand.
