Level 29 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

Juha Helppi opened to 1,000,000 in the cutoff with KJ1010 and Brian Rast called in the big blind holding KJ32.

The flop came 4A10, prompting Rast to check. Helppi continued for 1,000,000 with his set of tens only to see Rast raise to 5,450,000. Helppi responded by moving all in for 13,100,000 and Rast quickly called with the marginally larger stack to put his opponent at risk.

Brian Rast: KJ32

Helppi was ahead and remained so on the 9 turn. The 5 river, however, improved Rast to a wheel to send Helppi out in 5th place in brutal fashion.

Helppi Sniffs Out Eldridge's Bluff

Level 29 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

David Eldridge called from the small blind with KJ82 and Juha Helppi checked his option in the big blind with A1072.

Helppi called a 500,000 bet from Eldridge on the 947 flop and then Eldridge check-called a 1,200,000 bet from Helppi on the Q turn.

The 2 completed the board and Eldridge bluffed for 3,500,000.

Helppi tanked for some time, but eventually stuck in a call with his two pair to take down the sizable pot.

Helppi Cannot Make the Call

Level 29 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

David Eldridge limped on the button holding KQ96 and Juha Helppi called in the small blind with AK55. Ethan Cahn then checked his option out of the big blind with AK76 to send action three-way to the flop.

All three players checked through the 382 flop to the 4 turn at which point Helppi checked again, having made a wheel. Cahn took the opportunity to fire off 900,000. Eldridge quickly got out of the way while Helppi opted for a call.

The 7 river saw Helppi check once more. Cahn continued his bluff by betting 2,500,000. Helppi considered for a moment, then laid down the best hand to take a hit to his stack.

Eldridge Gets Wang to Fold Best Hand

Level 29 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

David Eldridge opened to 900,000 from middle position with J997 and Yang Wang defended in the big blind holding A962.

Wang checked following the 4AK flop before calling a 1,800,000 continuation from Eldridge.

Both players checked through the 10 turn to the 2 river at which point Wang checked once more. Eldridge, with little to no showdown value, bet out a chunky 4,500,000. Wang did not think for too long before mucking his hand to send a sizable pot over to Eldridge.
