Ethan Cahn raised to 1,750,000 on the button with K♠Q♦9♦7♥ and was called by David Eldridge in the big blind with A♠K♣Q♠7♣.

Eldridge checked to Cahn on the J♣8♦Q♣ flop and he continued for 2,100,000. Eldridge then check-raised to 10,000,000 — sending Cahn into the tank.

Cahn eventually opted to lay his hand down and Eldridge distanced himself from the short stack.

Brian Rast opened to 1,500,000 from the small blind with J♥8♥7♣6♠ and David Eldridge three-bet to 4,500,000 from the big blind with A♣9♣3♥2♣. Rast called.

The flop came 8♦3♦10♣ and Rast led out for a pot-sized bet of 9,500,000. Eldridge quickly let his hand go and Rast collected the pot.

Ethan Cahn raised to 1,500,000 from the small blind and Brian Rast three-bet to put Cahn all in for his remaining 5,200,000 from the big blind. Cahn quickly called to put himself at risk and hands were revealed.

Brian Rast: 10♥10♦8♦5♠

Cahn was ahead with his aces, and the 3♣6♣5♦3♦7♥ runout failed to improve Rast to score Cahn his second double up of the day.

Rast Gets Paid to Leave Cahn Short

Brian Rast opened to 1,250,000 on the button with Q♦10♦5♥3♥ and Ethan Cahn defended in the big blind holding A♥K♠7♦4♠.

Action checked through the K♥J♥6♦ flop to the A♦ turn at which point Cahn checked again. Rast fired off 2,000,000, receiving a call from Cahn.

Cahn checked once more after the river came 8♣. Rast went for big value by pushing 5,400,000 into the middle. That sent Cahn into the tank but, with top two and plenty of missed draws on the board, he was unable to find the fold and could only watch as the majority of his stack was shipped over to Rast.

Brian Rast has been chipping away at David Eldridge and Ethan Cahn in small pots as of late.

In a recent hand, Rast raised to 1,750,000 on the button with A♥10♣5♠3♣ and was called by Ethan Cahn in the big blind with A♣K♥J♣2♦.

Both players checked on the Q♠7♠A♠ flop and then Cahn check-folded facing an 800,000 bet from Rast on the 7♣ turn.

Rast checked following the A♦K♥3♥ flop. Eldridge continued for 1,200,000 but was unable to shake off Rast as he made the call.

Action checked through the A♥ turn to the 3♣ river where Rast led out for 400,000. Eldridge quickly called and was shown the bad news by Rast, who had made a flush to take down the pot.

Wang moved all in following the 10♥J♦6♠ flop and Eldridge snapped off with top two pair.

Wang would need to make a straight to survive but the turn came J♥ to improve Eldridge to a full house, thus rendering the 6♣ river meaningless as Wang made his way to the payout desk in 4th place.
