Grujic Advances; Kalas Doubles

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Marko Grujic
Marko Grujic

Marko Grujic shoved on the button and a short-stacked Alex Foxen called all in for approximately 20,000 to put himself at risk.

Alex Foxen: Q7 All in
Marko Grujic: K3

Foxen would need some help, but the 6J469 runout kept Grujic ahead with his king and Foxen was eliminated.

At another table, Kane Kalas had a bet of 5,800 in front of him on a completed board of 5K6JQ. Brandon Brown then shoved, which was enough to put Kalas all in for his last 60,000.

Kalas thought it over, but eventually made the call and Brown turned over 74 for a whiffed straight draw.

Kalas tabled K3 for a pair of kings and was awarded the double up.

Wantman Makes the Right Call to Double Through Zeng

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

On a board of JA69, Matthew Wantman check-called a 16,000 bet from Linglin Zeng.

The 5 filled the river and Wantman checked a final time. Zeng bet enough to put Wantman all in for his last 60,000.

Wantman studied Zeng for some time before committing the rest of his stack into the middle. Zeng could only show K3 for a king-high and Wantman turned over J10 for a pair of jacks for the double up.

Nick Schulman jammed for around 42,000 from the button and Michael Steele called from the big blind.

Nick Schulman: AxJ All in
Michael Steele: 77

Schulman added a plethora outs on the Q109 flop, having an open-ended straight flush draw to go along with his overcards.

Miraculously, Steele's pocket pair remained best as the board bricked out with the 22.
