Samual gets Three Streets of Value

After Darius Samual called on the button, Artur Martirosian checked his option.

The flop came 9♣A♥4♠, Martirosian checked, and Samual bet out 50,000, which Martirosian called.

On the turn was the 10♣, Martirosian once again checked, and Samual fired out 150,000, which was again called.

The river brought the K♥ to complete the board, after Martirosian checked once more, Samual went for another street of value, this time betting out 315,000.

Martirosian wasted no time in making the call but was shown the bad news when Samual tabled A♦6♠ for top pair. Martirosian tossed his hand in the muck, and the 1,030,000-chip pot went to Samual, that has given him the lead.

Mamut Doubles Through Jaka

Faraz Jaka limped on the button with Q♠7♣ and Nikolai Mamut checked his option in the big blind with J♠7♠.

Mamut check-called a 75,000 bet from Jaka on the A♣5♠7♥ flop and a 160,000 bet from Jaka on the 2♠ turn.

The J♦ river improved Mamut to two pair and Jaka bet enough to put Mamut all in for his last 575,000.

Mamut quickly called and showed Jaka the bad news for the double up to get back in the match.

Mamut called an 80,000 bet from Jaka on the J♥3♦6♦ flop and a 100,000 bet from Jaka on the J♠ turn.

Both players checked down on the 5♣ river and Jaka turned over 4♥4♣. Mamut couldn't beat it and flung his cards into the muck.

With that hand, Mamut is now sitting under a million in chips.

Action heated up on the 5♣ turn, where Mamut went for a check-raise to 350,000 over Jaka's bet of 85,000. Jaka called and the river brought the 6♥.

Mamut checked, and Jaka fired out a bet of 1,700,000, putting Mamut at risk, who had 1,190,000 behind. Mamut went into the tank, using two time bank cards before arriving at a fold.

Samual Chips Away at Martirosian’s Lead

Darius Samual raised 70,000 with Q♦J♥, and then faced a 250,000 three-bet from Artur Martirosian, who held A♣J♦.

Samual called, prompting the dealer to fan 4♣Q♥K♦ on the flop. Samual paired his queen, while his opponent flopped a gut-shot straight draw.

Martirosian bet 125,000, which Samual called to put the pot at 750,000.

The turn paired the board when K♣ arrived. Martirosian didn’t slow down and bet 275,000 to push the pot to 1,025,000.

Samual took a moment before announcing an all-in bet, which forced Martirosian out of the hand and gave Samual a nice pot.
