McKeehen Spins Up From Less Than a Big; Pro SlowRoll
Hand #1:
Joe McKeehen was all in from the small blind for only 3,000. There had been a raise and a three bet in front that left him heads up against Nicolas Vayssieres.
Joe McKeehen: Q♠10♥
Nicolas Vayssieres: A♠J♣
The board was safe for Vayssieres as it rolled out 6♠6♦4♠4♣ but the river rewarded McKeehen the pot when the Q♦ fell.
Hand #2:
McKeehen ended up folding until it was his big blind. Charles Honkonen raised to 10,000 under the gun. Espen Jørstad and Nicolas Vayssieres both called. McKeehen went all in for only 2,000 more and everyone called.
The flop was 6♣2♠10♠ and it checked around. The turn was the 5♣ and it checked to Vayssieres who bet 44,000. He got a call from Honkonen and Jørstad folded. The river saw the 7♣ check through.
Vayssieres: J♥10♠
Honkonen: K♥10♦
Honkonen's hand was good for the side pot but McKeehen said, "Do I have to show?" before turning over A♣K♣ for the nut flush, getting his stack up to 54,000.
