Pinson Turns Top Pair into a Bluff

On a board of J2638 there were around 750,000 chips in the pot when Aaron Pinson bet 1,300,000 on the river, leaving himself just 45,000 chips behind. Richard Dixon was the man facing the bet and after a considerable amount of time in the tank, he eventually folded.

"I turned my jack into a bluff" remarked Pinson before he tabled J7.

Davidson Comes Out Firing

Kyriakos Papadopoulos opened to 120,000 from the hijack which both Richard Dixon from the small blind and James Davidson from the big blind called.

Dixon checked, and Davidson bet out on the 359 flop for 160,000. Papadopoulos made the fold but Dixon stuck around and called.

When the 8 landed on the turn, Davidson fired another bet of 375,000, and Dixon laid it down.
