Cabral Hero Calls

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Joao Cabral
Joao Cabral

Joao Cabral raised to 18,000 from the small blind and Thomas Connors called from the big blind.

Cabral bet 13,000 on the 1054 flop and Connors called.

Cabral checked the 6 turn and Connors bet 36,000. Cabral called to see a river.

After Cabral checked the 5 river, Connors moved all in for 45,000. After some thought, Cabral made the call, and Connors turned over KJ for king-high. Cabral had A4 for bottom pair, which was good enough to send Connors to the rail.

Jessica Porter
Jessica Porter

Nicolas Hotte moved all in from middle position for 79,000 and Jessica Porter, in the cutoff, also moved all of her chips in for 150,000. Warren Nam, in the big blind, perceived a chance to knock out two players and made the call with the superior stack.

Nicolas Hotte: KQ All in
Jessica Porter: A10 All in
Warren Nam: J8

The flop aided Porter immediately when it fell QA5 and she held from there when the turn 4 and the river 2 blanked. Porter more than doubled up her stack and knocked out Nicolas Hotte.
