Sanchez Takes Two in a Row

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A three-way all in where the cutoff jammed with 3x3x, late position sat with JxJx and Jonathon Sanchez with KxQx saw Sanchez stack up from the small blind. A player on the table made a comment as Sanchez collected his chips, stating "that's the nature of the turbo".

In the next hand on the same table, Sanchez raised from the button when the big blind went all in. Sanchez snap called and the players flipped their hands.

Big Blind: K7All in
Jonathon Sanchez: AK

With a king coming on the flop KJ5, but a 4 giving Sanchez the flush on the turn, the big blind was drawing dead by the river. Sanchez gained yet another bounty, sitting with three total.

Ciccarelli Hits Runner-Runner to Stay Alive

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The Horseshoe has seen some crazy runouts today, with another player hitting a straight flush on the river. A commotion was heard at a nearby table involving John Ciccarelli, who had just doubled up.

Ciccarelli recapped the action for PokerNews, where he explained that he had shoved in the cutoff for about 12 big blinds. The player on the button, who had him covered, moved all in as well.

John Ciccarelli: A10 All in
Button: A7

The flop of 298 had Ciccarelli nearly drawing dead, as his opponent flopped the nut flush. That was until the dealer put out the J turn and Q river to give Ciccarelli runner-runner for the straight flush.

The players at the table couldn't believe what an incredible runout took place, keeping Ciccarelli's tournament hopes alive.
