The Bubble has Burst

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There was no need for hand-for-hand, as once dealers went to complete the hand they were in, the field was whittled down to 396 and those remaining are in the money.

The room broke out in cheers to the news and play continued.

Fearless on the Bubble

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Aaron Thivyahathan went all in for just over 100,000 over the early positon open of Cole Griffith.

Griffith released his hand and Thivyahathan flashed 1010 to the table and let them know it was an easy shove, despite being so close to the bubble bursting.

Just one hand later:

Griffith opened to 12,000 and faced an all in from Dan Shak on his direct left. It folded back to Griffith and made the call.

Dan Shak: AQ All in
Cole Griffith: Q9

The board rolled out ace high and Shak found the double with no sweat. Griffith then made mention he couldn't best Shak and Shak confirmed he'd doubled through Griffith three times.
