Alexander Villa raised to 525,000 in the cutoff and Jose Aguilera defended from the big blind. The flop came 8♥6♠5♦ and Villa continued with a bet of 850,000. Aguilera check-raised to 2,500,000 and Villa called.

The turn brought the A♣ and Aguilera slid out a bet of 2,000,000. Villa again called and the 7♣ completed the board. Aguilera announced all in, putting Villa to the test for his remaining stack of roughly 7,400,000. Villa thought for nearly half of the break and then called it off. Aguilera showed 8♠8♣ for a set of eights while Villa was left with A♥8♦.

Ryan Tamanini raised to 600,000 and Daniel Scroggins then three-bet to 1,700,000 on the button. The four-bet shove of the initial raiser followed and Scroggins folded.

One hand later, Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi raised to 1,475,000 on the button and left himself exactly 300,000 — one big blind — behind. Eric Schneider checked his cards, nodded and tossed in chips before confirming he just called.

The flop came 10♣8♠4♣ and Schneider moved all-in. Ohulchanskyi called.

"I have spades. Spades work," Hawkins said, already standing up with his backpack around his shoulders, heading to the 9♣9♠8♥ flop.

"That's not going to do it," he added. "I don't think i can win. Oh, yes I can, ten-seven."

"Nine-nine for a chop," a tablemate offered.

"Nah, nah, nah. It's easier to get ten-seven," Hawkins replied as the 8♠ fell on the turn, leaving him drawing dead.

"That's not going to do it. Why can't you have ace-king, my guy?" Hawkins asked Ghio after hitting the J♠ on the river that wasn't enough for the WSOP Circuit ring king, who instead hit the rail in 35th place.

The two saw a flop of 3♦9♦8♣ and Teltscher checked to Maceiras Lapido, who made a continuation-bet of 800,000. Teltscher then thought for a bit before going all in for around 5,000,000 chips and Maceiras Lapido snap-called.
