Davis Leaves Pateychuk on 10 Big Blinds

Andrey Pateychuk raised it up from the hijack and Brian Davis defended from the big blind. The flop came J♠J♣3♣ and Davis check-called a bet of 400,000 from Pateychuk.

The turn was the J♦ and Davis led out with a bet of 350,000. Pateychuk raised to 1,500,000 and Davis called. The river was the Q♠ and Davis checked this time. Pateychuk moved out a bet of 4,500,000 and Davis looked him up. Pateychuk showed A♠10♦ for ace-high while Davis held 5♠3♠ for a full house.

Kimmel Picks Off Massive Bluff to Double

Picking up the action on the river, Christopher Kimmel in the big blind was involved in a hand with Clement Richez in the cutoff. With the board reading 6♣4♠5♣6♠6♦ Kimmel bet out 800,000, leaving himself 3,800,000 behind. Richez responded by moving all in with the covering stack. Kimmel thought long and hard about the decision for his tournament life but ultimately found a tricky call with 5♠3♥. Richez could only turn over A♥10♦ to hand Kimmel a huge double while leaving himself with just a few big blinds.

Obregon Spikes the Turn on Auer

Bryan Obregon raised to 300,000 from under the gun and Matthias Auer defended his big blind.

The flop came J♦A♦7♠ and Obregon continued for 175,000. Auer then raised to 450,000 and Obregon stuck around and called.

The 7♣ fell on the turn and Auer open-shoved all in for 1,130,000. Obregon snap-called with 8♥7♥ for trip sevens, while Auer had A♠4♦.

The 8♦ river improved Obregon to a full house and sent Auer to the rail.

Hulme Rivers Straight Flush; Dunst Eliminated

Andrew Hulme opened to 325,000 from under the gun and Ryan Tosoc put in a three-bet to 800,000 next to act. Tony Dunst called for his last 525,000 and it folded back to Hulme who made the call.

The flop came Q♦10♦6♠ and Hulme check-called a bet of 600,000 from Tosoc. On the A♠ turn both players checked their options to the J♦ river.

Hulme took a few seconds before sliding out a bet of 1,825,000 and Tosoc quickly let it go. Dunst tabled K♥Q♠ for a straight but was no good when Hulme rolled over 9♦8♦ for a straight flush to score the pot and send Dunst out in 66th place.

Carlos Henrique Da Silva opened to 400,000 from early position and was met with a raise to 1,100,000 from Dean Hutchison, who was in the cutoff.

Da Silva four-bet to 2,000,000 which left him with around 4,750,000 behind. Hutchison responded by moving all in as the bigger stack. Da Silva thought for about one minute before folding.

Anirban Das won a three-way single-raised pot that was checked to the 8♥3♦3♥K♣A♠ river when he bet 1,400,000 to force out Liran Betito and Adam Walton.

Das then raised to 400,000 from under the gun and called the shove by Eric Schneider for 3,275,000 on the button.
