Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Jonathan Therme
Jonathan Therme

Juan Maceiras Lapido raised from the small blind and Jonathan Therme called out of the big blind. A first barrel by the Spaniard followed on the A98 flop after which Therme called with some 2,800,000 behind.

Maceiras Lapido then splashed in nine of the new one million chips after the 6 turn and that sent Therme into the tank.

After several minutes, Adam Walton said "I know it's a big spot but I gonna call clock in a minute" and did so one minute later.

The thirty seconds ran down and Therme called at the last second.

Jonathan Therme: Q9
Juan Maceiras Lapido: J4

The 3 river improved Maceiras Lapido to a flush and Therme was eliminated.

The turn was the 3 and both players checked to the A on the river. Taylor slid out a bet of 1,200,000 on the river and O'Neill snapped him off. Taylor showed JJ but was outdone by the 22 of O'Neill.

King-Four, Give Me Some More!

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

The action was on Ruslan Prydryk in middle position who shoved all in for 2,150,000. Michael Berk asked for a count from the hijack and then flicked in a call. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Ruslan Prydryk: K4
Michael Berk: 99

The flop fell J104 and Prydryk picked up a pair of fours but Berk was still out in front. The J on the turn gave Prydryk a flush draw and it was the K on the river that gave him the better two pair to double through Berk.

Two Pair for Payne

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Joshua Payne opened to 300,000 from middle position. He was called by Liran Betito and Ryan Tosoc from the button and the big blind.

On the J95 flop, Payne continued for 375,000 and only Betito called.

On the 4 turn, Payne sized up to 1,100,000 and Betito decided to stick around for another street.

The 6 completed the board and a third barrel was fired by Payne. He made it 3,000,000 and Betito quickly called again.

Payne tabled his 54 for fives and fours and his opponent mucked.

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Richard Ryder
Richard Ryder

Richard Ryder opened to 300,000 from under the gun before Alexander Villa three-bet to 900,000 in the hijack. Ryder then came back with a reraise to 2,200,000.

Villa announced he was all in and Ryder went deep in the tank. He asked Villa how much he had behind, but Villa remained motionless staring back at him until Ryder finally called.

Richard Ryder: AK
Alexander Villa: AK

"That's what I was hoping you had," Ryder said upon seeing he and Villa shared the same hand and appeared heading for a chop.

"I was trying to get you to fold," Villa replied.

The flop came 8K2 and Ryder suddenly picked up a flush draw. The flush came in on the Q turn as he ran away from the table and loudly clapped his hands together. Villa was already drawing dead heading to the 9 river.

The stacks were counted down and Ryder had 8,325,000 remaining. Villa barely had him covered and handed over most of his stack.

Gabi Livshitz opened to 325,000 from early position and both Logan Hoover on the button and Andrew Hulme in the big blind made the call.

The flop fanned out A104 and action checked around to Hoover who tossed out a bet of 300,000. Hulme made the call and Livshitz got out of the way.

On the 7 turn Hulme checked again and Hoover announced "alright, all-in then,", putting his stack of 2,300,000 across the line. Hulme pondered for a moment, but in the end let it go and the pot was sent to Hoover.

Heads-up on a board of 6Q8J, Sergio Torres bet 1,500,000 from middle position and Joshua Payne called in the small blind.

The river came the 10 and Payne checked over to Torres, who slid forward a tower of purple 100,000 chips for a bet of 2,500,000.

"Ace-ten, queen-ten," Payne muttered to himself as he tanked for a few minutes. He eventually called and Torres shook his head and flashed the 10.

Payne turned over AJ for a pair of jacks as he raked in the massive pot to climb up to 30,000,000.

Three Knockouts in Quick Succession On Table 605

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
John Duthie
John Duthie

Ludovic Geilich got his chips in via preflop flip with AK against the 66 of Anirban Das, who made a straight on the 75344 board.

"I will see you there in a minute," John Duthie joked as he was bound to be in the big blind two hands later.

Das then left Clemen Deng on fumes one hand later with queens before Duthie was in the big blind.

Deng called all in from under the gun and Daniel Scroggins raised to 350,000 on the button.

"I don't need to look," Duthie said and called all in as he had paid the big blind ante already.

John Duthie: Q3
Clemen Deng: J4
Daniel Scroggins: QJ

"I am not sure if I should say this, but I folded three-four," Das said.

The board ran out A86K2 and Scroggins scored a double knockout for a small pot with queen-jack high.
