Masato Yokosawa
Masato Yokosawa

Masato Yokosawa opened to 325,000 in the cutoff and Dean Hutchison called on the button as Christopher Kimmel and Spencer Taylor called from the blinds.

"Ah, bomb pot!" laughed Yokosawa. "Double-board, please!"

Action checked through on the flop of 675 and Kimmel bet 775,000 on the 3 turn. Taylor and Yokosawa called and Hutchison folded.

Kimmel then checked as the 4 river put a straight on the board and Taylor also checked. Yokosawa shuffled some chips before announcing a bet of 2,900,000 to bring folds from his opponents.

Ruban Runs Into Lamanna's Jacks

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Pierpaola Lamanna
Pierpaola Lamanna

Pierpaola Lamanna three-bet to 775,000 from the hijack, then called when Ivan Ruban moved all in for 3,075,000.

Ivan Ruban: AK
Pierpaola Lamanna: JJ

The 23J flop gave Lamanna top set and Ruban was already wishing his tablemates luck and getting up from his seat. The 2 turn left him drawing dead and the inconsequential river was the 9 as Lamanna sent him to the rail with a full house.

Betito Gets Tricky with Seven-High

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Liran Betito
Liran Betito

Adam Walton opened to 300,000 from middle position before Liran Betito three-bet to 950,000 from the button. Walton called to see the K83 flop, where plenty of action occurred.

Walton began with a check, and Betito bet 475,000. Walton put in the check-raise to 1,525,000, which put Betito into the tank. The camera crew surrounded the table while the rails of both players looked on.

Not to be outdone by Walton, Betito three-bet to 2,575,000, which was the smallest raise he could make.

Walton gave up on the hand, and Betito slammed his cards down in celebration.

"Let's go!" he shouted as he tabled his 76, which was good for just seven-high.

Juan Maceiras raised to 300,000 from under the gun and was called by Anirban Das before Liran Betito, on the button, three-bet to 1,625,000. Only Maceiras called as Das got out of the way.

Both players checked the K210 flop and the 8 turn before the 7 fell on the river. Maceiras then fired out 2,000,000 and Betito snap called.

Maceiras turned over QQ for the flush and Betito flashed AA before mucking.

Scott Berko

Daniel Vampan opened to 350,000 on the button and Scott Berko defended out of the big blind.

Berko checked on the flop of 27K and Vampan continued for 200,000. Berko called. Berko checked again on the 7 turn and Vampan checked back.

Berko checked once more on the 9 river and Vampan also checked before Berko turned over 32 for a rivered flush.

"You got zero more chips in that pot!" Vampan commented.

"Oh well," sighed Berko.

"If you bet 1,000,000 I would have snap called," said Vampan said.

"They all say that, don't they?" replied Berko. "I've heard it all."

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
John Duthie
John Duthie

Ludovic Geilich got his chips in via preflop flip with AK against the 66 of Anirban Das, who made a straight on the 75344 board.

"I will see you there in a minute," John Duthie joked as he was bound to be in the big blind two hands later.

Das then left Clemen Deng on fumes one hand later with queens before Duthie was in the big blind.

Deng called all in from under the gun and Daniel Scroggins raised to 350,000 on the button.

"I don't need to look," Duthie said and called all in as he had paid the big blind ante already.

John Duthie: Q3
Clemen Deng: J4
Daniel Scroggins: QJ

"I am not sure if I should say this, but I folded three-four," Das said.

The board ran out A86K2 and Scroggins scored a double knockout for a small pot with queen-jack high.

Joshua Payne
Joshua Payne

Heads-up on a board of 6Q8J, Sergio Torres bet 1,500,000 from middle position and Joshua Payne called in the small blind.

The river came the 10 and Payne checked over to Torres, who slid forward a tower of purple 100,000 chips for a bet of 2,500,000.

"Ace-ten, queen-ten," Payne muttered to himself as he tanked for a few minutes. He eventually called and Torres shook his head and flashed the 10.

Payne turned over AJ for a pair of jacks as he raked in the massive pot to climb up to 30,000,000.

Ryder Catches a Miracle With the Same Hand

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Richard Ryder
Richard Ryder

Richard Ryder opened to 300,000 from under the gun before Alexander Villa three-bet to 900,000 in the hijack. Ryder then came back with a reraise to 2,200,000.

Villa announced he was all in and Ryder went deep in the tank. He asked Villa how much he had behind, but Villa remained motionless staring back at him until Ryder finally called.

Richard Ryder: AK
Alexander Villa: AK

"That's what I was hoping you had," Ryder said upon seeing he and Villa shared the same hand and appeared heading for a chop.

"I was trying to get you to fold," Villa replied.

The flop came 8K2 and Ryder suddenly picked up a flush draw. The flush came in on the Q turn as he ran away from the table and loudly clapped his hands together. Villa was already drawing dead heading to the 9 river.

The stacks were counted down and Ryder had 8,325,000 remaining. Villa barely had him covered and handed over most of his stack.
