Nielsen Forces a Fold From Jaffe

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Will Jaffe opened to 1,700 from middle position and Martin Nielsen three-bet to 5,000 from the small blind. Jaffe called.

Both players checked on the A24 flop and then Nielsen bet 4,000 when the J fell on the turn. Jaffe called.

The J completed the board and Nielsen bet enough to put Jaffe all in for his last 14,000. Jaffe went deep into the tank, but eventually found a fold and Nielsen dragged the pot.

Beinner Shows the Goods

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Matthew Beinner raised from the cutoff to 1,700, the button called and Anshul Kulshrestha three-bet to 6,500. Only Beinner called.

The flop came 22K and Kulshrestha continued for 5,000. Beinner elected to see a turn.

The 4 fell and Kulshrestha slowed down. Beinner took the lead for 25,400 and Kulshrestha went into the tank.

"Will you show if I fold? I have a good hand," Kulshrestha stated before folding JJ face up. Beinner obliged and flashed the K as he raked in the pot.

Coolers Galore for Oboodi

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

After allegedly losing half his stack with queens against aces prior, Bobby Oboodi once again was involved in a preflop all-in, this time against Bryan Jimenez. Oboodi's 53,200 remaining chips barely covered Jimenez's stack of 49,700 and the cards went on their backs.

Bryan Jimenez: KK
Bobby Oboodi: AA

This time it was Oboodi who held the pocket aces, and they would hold when the board ran out 10J592. Oboodi almost climbed back up to what he started the day with, and Jimenez was eliminated with his premium holding early on Day 2d.

Rheem Puts Opponent in the Blender

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with players heads up and the board reading 62AA. Chino Rheem checked from the small blind and a player in the big blind bet 3,500. Rheem check-raised to 11,000 and was called by his opponent.

The river came the 7. Rheem moved all in, covering his opponent's remaining stack of 28,100. The big blind went deep into the tank with his tournament life on the line.

After over four minutes of thought the big blind folded his cards and Rheem collected a nice pot.

Action at Ivey's Table

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Phil Ivey is sitting in the Red section and he is at a table that is seeing plenty of action. In the latest pot, Istvan Birizdo raised to 1,800 from early position, and Jonathan Hilton three-bet to 5,400 from the button. Christian Barr then cold-called from the small blind before Ivey folded his big blind.

Birizdo came along as well and a flop of 23Q was spread. The action checked to three-better Hilton, who continued with a bet of 6,000. Both of his opponents made the fold and Hilton raked in a nice three-way pot.
