Tuominen Goes for Thin Value

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a completed board of 105433, there were roughly 13,000 chips in the middle and Eemil Tuominen fired out a bet of 5,600.

Hunter Hemphill was the opponent in the hand and thought about it for about 20 seconds before making the call. Tuominen tabled 64 for fours and threes, which was good as Hemphill mucked his hand.

Carrera Wins Without a Showdown

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The pot stood at 13,000 with the board reading 7J5A and two players remaining in the hand.

The player in the big blind bet out for 5,500. Jorge Carrera was in the under-the-gun position and opted to shove all in for his remaining 12,300. Seemingly too much for Carrera's opponent to call, they mucked their cards and conceded the pot.

Welko Takes from Taylor

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Taylor raised in the cutoff before Craig Wilko three-bet to 8,400 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Taylor made the call.

When the 1022 flop hit the felt, Wilko continued for 6,100, which was called by Taylor.

Wilko continued with aggression when the 6 fell on the turn, firing 10,500 into the middle. Taylor paused for a moment and put in the call.

The 8 river put the fourth diamond on the board and Wilko slowed down, checking to Taylor who checked back. Wilko tabled AJ for a flush and dragged the pot as Taylor mucked his hand.

Nasa Picks Off Dang in Massive Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A pot of around 40,000 was already in the middle as Yen Dang and Akshay Nasa saw the river on a completed board of 2Q1078. Dang then bet another 40,000 as action went on Nasa.

Nasa tanked for several minutes over the decision for most of his remaining stack. Another tablemate, who claimed he had time to head off to the bathroom and come back in the time Nasa took to make his decision, eventually called the clock.

The tournament floor arrived by the table and started counting down before Nasa slammed in a call. Dang showed AK, while Nasa had JJ to take down the pot.

"Calling the clock helped you," Nasa's tablemate added after the hand

One of her opponents in middle position folded after a couple minutes and Quinn Do quickly made the call after from the button.

Mincher Leads the River

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Brandon Mincher, Robert Gegen, and a late registrant were three-way to a flop of A6A. Mincher and Gegen checked from the blinds before the player on the button bet out 1,400. Mincher made the call and Gegen folded. The 3 turn then saw another check-call by Mincher, this time for the amount of 3,000.

The 9 river brought a third spade on the board, and this time Mincher chose to lead out instead of check. The bet was 4,000 chips and Mincher's opponent took a moment to think it over. Ultimately, he put in the call but would muck his cards when Mincher showed A10 for trip aces.
