Holley Wins One; Smirnov Chops With Deutsch

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ryan Hoenig raised to 210,000 in the hijack and earned a call from John Holley in the small blind. They checked to the 85466 river on which Holley bet 200,000 and Hoenig folded.

Hassan Kamel then raised to 180,000 in the cutoff and Anton Smirnov three-bet the pot to 510,000 with few chips behind. Stephen Deutsch moved all-in for around 1.2 million and Kamel asked for a count while Smirnov was briefly stunned.

"That's more than I expected," Kamel said and folded while Smirnov called it off.

Anton Smirnov: AKJ3
Stephen Deutsch: AKK4

The 662 flop and 9 turn locked up the high portion for Deutsch. Smirnov needed a low card to escape and spiked the 4 river to chop with the nut low.
