Eskenazi Doubles Up Through Duong

Level 28 : Limits 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Scott Eskenazi, one of the short stacks at the table, got involved in a battle of the blinds against Jason Duong, who has one of the largest stacks remaining in the field.

Duong raised in the small blind. Eskenazi took his time before reraising the action, prompting Duong to look over at Eskenazi’s stack before making the call.

The flop produced 8AQ, which both players checked. The dealer then placed 6 on the turn, which Duong bet. Eskenazi, then moved all in with his remaining 160,000 chips, and Duong called.

Eskenazi: AJ
Duong: KQ

The river card didn’t improve any of the players’ hands, and Eskenazi doubled up his stack.
