Matthew Dames and Raul Celaya tangled in a hand shortly after the tournament merged to a single table.

Celaya raised preflop in early position, and Dames, one of the short stacks, called when the action returned to him in the blinds.

The flop saw 766 on the board, which Dames checked. Celaya bet and Dames called behind. The dealer placed 6 on the turn, and both players checked to the river, which produced K.

Dames then moved all in and Celaya called to see his opponent held 64.

Sabischencko Take One Off Duong

Action folded to Rostyslav Sabischencko on the button who raised and got a call from Jason Duong in the big blind before seeing a flop of 1086.

Duong led out with a bet and then called a raise from Sabischencko before seeing the 9 fall on the turn. Duong led out once again and got a call from Sabischencko.

The 10 fell on the river and both players checked through to showdown.

Duong tabled the 89 as Sabischencko turned over the 67, taking the pot down with a straight.

Scott Eskenazi endured a roller-coaster ride after the break, as his chip stack went up and down.

He battled back for a double up early in Level 28 before getting involved in a hand in Level 29 against John Armbrust, who had one of the bigger stacks at the table.

Armbrust raised in early position, and then Eskenazi re-raised out of the small blind. With action back to him, Armburst made the call and both players saw 229 hit the board.

Eskenazi bet, and Armbrust called. With 10 on the turn. Eskenazi continued an aggressive line by betting, but Armbrust once again called.

The river produced 7, prompting Eskenazi to move all in with his remaining chips.

“I got there,” Armbrust said as he tabled A6 for the nut flush.

Eskenazi tapped the felt and tabled JJ as he was sent to the rail in 10th place for $8,609.

With the tournament down to nine, the players merged into a single table.

In one pot, Baker put his chips in before the flop and doubled with the A5 when ran down Broadway on a run out of 6K10JQ versus the KQ of Matthew Dames.

A hand or two later holding 88, he found a triple up on a board of 103598 versus the Matthew Dames and Rostyslav Sabishchenko.

Baker And Welsh Clash in a Big Pot

Kerry Welsh raised and David "ODB" Baker to his immediate left tossed in a three-bet from the button. The player in the small blind called before seeing Welsh stick in a fourth bet. Both Baker on the button and the small blind player called to see a flop of 3QQ.

Welsh checked, as did the small blind, prompting Baker to toss out a bet.

The small blind called as did Welsh, leading to the 2 turn. The small blind and Welsh checked to Baker again who tossed out another bet. The small blind got out of the way and Welsh called once again to see the 3 river.

Both Welsh and Baker checked through. Baker turned up the JJ only to see Welsh turn over the KK and take down a massive pot, leaving Baker close to the felt.

Baker showed 1010 while Dockal turned over the A7 which wasn't good enough to beat Walsh and with that, Dockal was sent to the rail in 12th place for $6,968.
