Hennigan Beats Trang in Showdown

Heads-up to the 9748 turn, Christopher Trang and John Hennigan invested 70,000 each and that brought them to the J river. Both players checked and Trang announced a set of jacks. It was no good, however, as Hennigan briefly flashed AxKx10x9x for a straight to win the pot.

Monnette took the lead on the AQ7 flop but Sammartino leaped back ahead with the Q turn, the 2 river then secured the double of Sammartino.

Lee Lays it Down

Jonathan Azoulay opened to 12,000 from the cutoff but was then three-bet by Chris Lee who raised the pot to 44,000.

Azoulay made the call and the two went heads-up to a flop of Q39 where he led out for the pot, covering Lee.

Lee went into the tank for a good while, using a few of his time

"Wow, I could just be completely crushed here," Lee finally said. He then decided to make the fold shortly after.

Lyubovetskiy tabled the AKJ5 flop and Tong bemoaned his check on the flop.

Arieh Hits His Draw

Siddharth Gandhi opened to 17,000 preflop and was called only by Josh Arieh to see a flop of 72Q.

Gandhi led out for a pot bet of 47,000 and Arieh thought about it for a few seconds before he made the call to see the 10 on the turn.

Gandhi then moved all in and Arieh quickly snapped him off to put him at risk of elimination.

Arieh was already ahead with his turned two-pair and the river K did not improve Handhit and he was eliminated early on.

"How can you even call on the flop??" he questioned Arieh.

"Whatchu mean?! I had a pair! Two pair draw!" Arieh and the remaining players shared a laugh as he stacked his chips and Gandhi made his way to the exit.

Devinsky Blasts the River

Action folded to Yang Wang on the button who opened to 15,000. The small blind folded and Michael Devinsky defended his big blind.

The AQJ flop hit the felt and action checked through. The K landed on the turn and Devinsky opted to lead for 20,000. Yang quickly called.

The river landed a relative brick in the 8 and Devinsky took a moment before betting close to pot at 65,000. Yang thought it over but eventually sent his cards to the muck.
