In the sixth episode of The Chad & Jesse Poker Show, Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen are joined by GGPoker Ambassador Jason Koon, who took some time before jumping into the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $250,000 Super High Roller.
Koon talks about expecting his second child, and as fate would have it, the day after recording his wife went into labor and he had to pull out of the aforementioned tournament. In addition to sharing what it's like being a family man, Koon discusses integrity in poker, his personal goals, and a never-before-shared prop bet he has with Bill Perkins.
Koon, who currently sits fifth on the all-time poker money list according to The Hendon Mob with nearly $48 million, also discusses his love of poker history, shares a Doyle Brunson story, and just opens up about poker and life. Don't miss your chance to hear from one of the best.
The first 39 players have been sent on another 15-minute break.
Limit 2-7 Triple Draw
Picking action up on the first draw, Daniel Negreanu drew one in the small blind and Hal Rotholz stood pat on the button.
Negreanu check-called a bet and drew one again while Rotholz remained pat.
The players checked the next betting round and then both stood pat.
Negreanu now bet and got a call from Rotholz.
Negreanu showed 8x7x5x4x3x to take the hand with his eighty-seven against Rotholz' 9x6x5x4x3x .

Christopher Vitch was under the gun and opened to 4,000. Action folded to former PPC champion, Brian Rast, in middle position who three-bet to 14,500. Vitch thought it over and made the call.
The 5♥10♠5♣ flop hit and action checked to Rast who put out a bet of 11,000. Vitch smooth called again.
The turn brought a 7♥ and action slowed down and checked through.
The 4♦ river landed and Vitch went deep into the tank for almost two minutes before putting out a non-pot sized bet of 30,000. The sizing must've been spot-on because after no more that thirty seconds Rast made the fold and Vitch dragged a good pot without having to go to showdown.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: XxXx/2x3x4xAx
Brian Rast: XxXx/Ax2x9xAx - folded sixth street
Picking action up in fifth street, Dzmitry Urbanovich's board showed three to a wheel and he bet into Brian Rast's three to a nine.
Rast thought briefly and then made the call. Urbanovich hit a fourth card to a wheel on sixth street while Rast paired his own ace, and faced another bet from Urbanovich.
Rast couldn't continue and folded his hand to send the pot across the table.
