Talal Shakerchi

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Hal Rotholz raised to 60,000 from under the gun and James Obst three-bet to 210,000. Talal Shakerchi in the big blind flat-called and Rotholz then pondered about his next move for a minute before he clicked it back to 525,000.

Obst reluctantly folded while Shakerchi called. The Brit discarded one and Rotholz patted as they checked it down. Shakerchi flashed a pair of deuces while Rotholz won the pot with the patted 9x6x5x3x2x.

A somewhat flustered Obst inquired "What is going on?" without receiving any reply.

Shakerchi then called a raise by Daniel Alaei and led upon completion of the draw, making it 75,000 to go in the small blind. Alaei in the cutoff raised to 400,000 and Shakerchi called to get shown an ace, earning the pot with the 8x6x5x4x3x.
