Yockey Gets Short and Recovers Some Chips

Level 9
Bryce Yockey
Bryce Yockey

Omaha Hi-Lo

On a board of 843JQ, Bryce Yockey was all-in and earned one quarter of the pot with the A1042 for a pair of fours and the nut low. Kristopher Tong earned three quarters with AJ52 for the superior pair and same nut low, leaving Yockey on a very short stack.

One hand later, Tong earned the full pot in a medium-sized pot versus Daniel Alaei with AAQ5 on a board of KQ748.

Alaei and Yockey then tangled in a heads-up pot when Alaei bet the A97 flop and called a raise by Yockey. They checked the Q turn and Alaei check-called the J river. Yockey tabled his K1032 for a flush and won the pot.

One table over, Keith Lehr was down to even fewer chips than Yockey and bowed out moments later.
