The board ran out in Choe's favor with the K910, but Khair was still drawing to two sets and now had a gutshot to go with it. The turn was the insignificant 5, but the table let out a collective, "Ohhhhh!" when the 8 peeled on the river, giving Khair three of a kind to win the pot.

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened to 200,000 in middle position before Matthew Parry three-bet to 400,000 on the button. The blinds quickly got out of the way and Negreanu pushed forward a call, leaving just 140,000 behind.

"Going to save these for a rainy day," joked Negreanu, pointing at his chips behind the line. "If I miss the flop, I fold."

The dealer fanned a flop of 973 and Negreanu checked before Parry dropped two blue chips across the line for a bet of 200,000.

Negreanu pulled out his video camera as he said, "This is not good! We got three-bet and we have nothing, but there's too much in the pot," and then proceeded to push his chips across the line and both hands were tabled.

Daniel Negreanu: A542
Matthew Parry: KK98

Negreanu couldn't pull ahead of Parry's kings as the board ran out 9 on the turn and 7 on the river, sending him to the payout desk in 16th place.
