Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship
Day 3 Started
Out of a field of 123 unique players, only 13 hopefuls remain in contention for the final day of the Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship at the 2023 World Series of Poker. They have already locked up a slice of the $1,143,900 prize pool and will aim to lift the coveted WSOP gold bracelet for the winner shots, along with claiming the top prize of $298,682 at the Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas.
Only two players boast a seven-figure stack to their name as Talal Shakerchi (1,104,000) leads the way ahead of Carlos Chadha-Villamarin (1,052,000). There is already a gap to Michael Noori (756,000) and former Poker Players Championship winner Elior Sion (745,000) but a shake-up of the leaderboard is just one scoop away.

He enters the final day as one of the shorter stacks with 337,000, surrounded by the likes of Jerry Wong (471,000), John Hennigan (346,000), and Adam Owen (311,000).
Day 3 will start at 2:00 p.m. local time with level 18, which features a 5,000 ante, 5,000 bring-in, and limits of 20,000-40,000. All levels last 90 minutes each and the tournament is also slated to be streamed on the PokerGO poker platform later in the day.

"I have two pair, is that good?" Wong inquired on the other side of the table and Thung already exposed his cards. Wong and everyone else saw them briefly and he folded.

Adam Owen: 6x5x / Jx8x7xKx / 2x

One year removed from a rough summer, Daniel Negreanu is fighting his way back to within striking distance in the Player of the Year race — sort of — and he's doing so with large field event success.
At the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Poker Hall of Famer lost $1.1 million and was never in contention for Player of the Year. He isn't really in contention yet this year, but he isn't too far off from getting to that point.
Talal Shakerchi: XxXx / Jx7xAx5x / Xx
Carlos Chadha-Villamarin: XxXx / 5x7xAx2x / Xx
Carlos Chadha-Villamarin completed and was called by Talal Shakerchi, which brought them to fourth street. Chadha-Villamarin bet his advantage to get called and did so again on fifth. They checked sixth and Chadha-Villamarin bet seventh, Shakerchi called.
Chadha-Villamarin announced a six and tabled his 8x6x6x but Shakerchi had that beat with a five.
"Yeah, I was worried about that," Chadha-Villamarin said in table chat. He then paired an eight in the next hand for Brad Ruben to chip up as well.

Michael Noori: XxXx/3x2x4xQx/Xx
Talal Shakerchi: XxXx/3x5xJx3x/Xx
Noori completed before calling Shakerchi's raise.
Fourth street saw Noori check-call Shakerchi's bet. Fifth and sixth streets saw Noori leading out and Shakerchi coming along.
Noori bet seventh street, and then called a final bet from his opponent. Shakerchi turned over Ax7x6x for a seven-six, which was good as Noori mucked.
