Deeb's Rail is Growing

Level 34

Pot-Limit Omaha

Shaun Deeb raised to 250,000 from the button and Kyle Loman called in the big blind.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 2J939 when Deeb fired out 325,000. Loman simply shrugged and folded.

"Did you win, Shaun? Did you scoop," Josh Arieh yelled from Deeb's rail, which now includes Daniel Negreanu and Mike Matusow.

"We're playing this game, Josh," Deeb replied, showing the Omaha plaque.

"Shaun thinks this is his best game, but he doesn't know shit," Arieh added.

John Bunch Eliminated in 4th Place ($58,888)

Level 33
John Bunch
John Bunch

Omaha Hi-Lo

Soon after losing the big pot to Aloisio Dourado, John Bunch got the rest of his chips in from the button and Dourado had him at risk in the big blind.

John Bunch: 8742
Aloisio Dourado: A1062

The board ran out 3Q963 and Dourado made a pair of sixes to win the pot and knock out Bunch in fourth place.

"I'll take $600 for the shirt," Bunch said to Josh Arieh about his Allen Kessler top.

"$300 if you walk home without a shirt," Arieh countered before Bunch headed off to collect his payout.

Dourado's Hero Call Puts Bunch on Fumes

Seven Card Stud

Aloisio Dourado: 1063/374Q
John Bunch: J84/10K7Q

Aloisio Dourado defended his bring-in after a completion from John Bunch, who then bet every street right until seventh.

Facing that final bet, Dourado went into the tank for over a minute before making the call with just a pair of threes, which was good enough, as Bunch could only show king-high for a failed bluff, picked off by Dourado's incredible call.

Daniel Strelitz Eliminated in 5th Place ($41,867)

Level 33
Daniel Strelitz
Daniel Strelitz

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Strelitz moved all in for 1,200,000 and Aloisio Dourado, on the button, looked around at the stacks in the blinds before re-shoving. The rest of the table got out of the way.

Daniel Strelitz: K10
Aloisio Dourado: AA

"He has aces. We have king-ten off," Strelitz said to his family on the rail with an air of resignation. The flop came 366 and Strelitz was already going around the table shaking hands with his opponents as the 10 fell on the turn.

"We have backdoors," Strelitz suddenly said, but he couldn't connect with the J river and was sent to the rail in fifth place.

Dourado Further Shortens Strelitz

Level 33

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Strelitz limped his small blind and Aloisio Dourado checked in the big blind.

Strelitz then drew two while Dourado only took one. Strelitz check-called a bet from Dourado, with each player then taking one.

After another check from Strelitz, Dourado bet once more and this time, Strelitz folded as his stack dwindles closer to the sub-million mark.

Deeb Wheels His Way to Big Lead

Level 33
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Strelitz three-bet on the button and Shaun Deeb called as both players took one.

Deeb and Strelitz checked the first draw and took one, then checked again on the second draw. Both took one more on the third draw and Deeb led out with a bet.

Strelitz now came back with a raise and Deeb starred him down for a few moments before tossing in a reraise. Strelitz quickly called.

"Wheel," Deeb announced, turning over 7x5x4x3x2x to take down the massive pot and open a considerable chip lead over the final table.

Craig Carrillo

Stud 8 or Better

John Bunch: A977652
Craig Carrillo: AK98642

After several hours without an elimination, the field has finally been thinned to five players with the elimination of Craig Carrillo.

Bets and raises were exchanged until Carrillo was all in for his tournament life, but by seventh street, he remarkably was unable to make a high hand better than ace-high or a qualifying low, while Bunch's pair of sevens held on to score the knockout.
