There was an open under the gun to 1,300 and action folded to former Main Event Champion, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, in middle position. Raymer took his time and eventually opted to put in the cold three bet to 3,500. The action folded all the way back to the original raiser who made the call.
The 5♦4♥10♣ flop landed and the under the gun player checked. Raymer thought for only a moment before announcing a bet of 3,500. That was all it took and the under the gun player made the fold, giving Raymer some momentum early on.

After a flurry of preflop bets between four players, a middle position player raised for all his chips to 27,000 and in the seat next to him, Tyler Donovan reraised for all of his chips to 29,200, and the player in the cutoff called.
Middle Position: A♣A♠
Tyler Donovan: J♣J♦
Cutoff: A♦K♣
The board brought some excitement with 6♦3♣K♠Q♠J♥ and Donovan won the hand with a set of jacks and the short stack with cracked aces rapped the table and departed.
Elsewhere Steve Esposito was enthusiastic to give a statement, declaring, "First time here, very excited to be here and this is very well run".

Facing a bet of 2,100 from a player in middle position on a J♣10♠5♥ flop, Joe Porto called from the hijack and was joined by the button.
The turn came 6♣ and action was checked to Porto. He bet 10,000 and was called by the button. The river brought the K♠, and Porto moved all in for his last 10,500. His opponent debated for about a minute before making the call.
"Trips," said Porto, turning over 6♠6♦. His opponent showed A♠J♠ as he mucked.

What is preventing you from learning how to play poker? Maybe you are worried about looking silly because you don't fully know the rules and will invariably make a glaring mistake. If you are sitting nodding to any of those suggestions, you need the free-to-play WSOP App in your life.
The WSOP App is the official social gaming application of the World Series of Poker, the biggest brand and most trusted name in the poker world. The World Series of Poker has a reputation for being inclusive, and that shines through to the app because the WSOP App is for everyone, not only hardcore poker players.
With the board showing Q♦A♣3♠, a player in middle position bet 4,000 and was called by Max Fedorkins in the cutoff. Fedorkins also called his opponent's bet of 7,000 on the 7♥ turn.
The river came 2♣ and both players checked. The player in middle position showed A♥8♥, but Fedorkins rolled over A♠J♠ to take the pot.
