Day 1d Started
Event #18: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold’em will see it's final day of registration begin today at 10 a.m. with the total number of the prior three flights' entrants sitting at 14,635. No doubt it will be the biggest field of the 2023 World Series of Poker. The initial guarantee has been smashed and the prize pool currently sits at $3,603,162, meaning the player who wins will get a hefty return on their investment.
After the first three days of play, it was Patrick White who ended as the tournament big stack with 3,405,000. Many notables found their way into Day 2 already including the always colorful Justin Arnwine (3,080,000), Wesley Cannon (1,880,000), Daniel Buzgon (855,000), Angela Jordison (520,000), and six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu (2,250,000). Each of them looking for a piece of this massive prize pool.
Many players are expected to fire at least once today. Players like Ashley “PokerFaceAsh” Frank, Steve Wilkie, Kris Burchfield, Preston McEwen, and Rich Alsup all look to be among the contenders of today and with registration closing at the conclusion of Level 11, about 4:30 p.m., and they will have the option to reenter twice before then.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 starting chips. Levels will start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and each will last 30 minutes. After every four levels, players will go on a 20-minute break, with a 75-minute dinner break occurring at the conclusion of Level 15 (about 6:30 p.m.). Players will return and play until the end of Level 22 before bagging up chips. Due to the expected size of this field, tables will be spread all over the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Facing a flop of 6♣10♣3♠ and with action checked to him, Ronald Jackson bet 3,000 from the button. The hijack then raised all in, and Jackson immediately called for his remaining stack.
