Gao Navigates Multiway Pot

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action folded to Richard Gao in early position who made it 2,500. A player in late position made the call and both of the blinds called.

The 456 flop hit the felt and Gao continued for 2,500. Without wasting too much time the player in late position made it 8,200 and both of the blinds folded. With the action back on Gao, he thought for a moment before putting in the call.

The 2 turn completed the flush and action now checked through.

The 9 river landed and Gao put his foot back on the gas pedal and put out a bet of 10,000. The player in late position thought for awhile before eventually folding and Gao dragged the pot.

The Kicker Plays

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was a bet from an early position player to 2,200 and the hijack reraised to 7,000 and the cutoff, Steve Harada, and the early position players went to the flop.

The flop was 93K and the action stopped when everyone checked.

All of the players checked it down when the 9 arrived on the turn and the 2 came on the river.

The hijack showed A10 and Harada showed AQ and the other player mucked. Harada's kicker won the hand.

Faucette Growing Stack

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

James Faucette checked the KJQ flop, but found himself facing an all-in bet of 16,000 from a player in late position. Faucette thought for a little while before tossing in the call.

Late Position: 54
James Faucette: AJ

Despite the 10 giving him a straight on the turn, Faucette still needed to fade a fifth club. The 8 river ensured that no flushes would be mad, and Faucette stacked his opponent.
