Block Binks Best Boat

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Emil Block
Emil Block

Facing one limp from Emil Block in the cutoff, the player on the button raised to 35,000. Both the big blind and Block called.

The flop came AAK. Block moved in for his last 34,000 after the big blind checked, but both of his opponents called before both checking the Q turn and A river.

The big blind turned over JJ for aces full of jacks, and the button turned over Q10 for aces full of queens. However, Block showed K9, and his aces full of kings tripled him up.

Schwecke Sweeps Up

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Tyler Schwecke and two other opponents got all the chips into the middle before the flop, with Schwecke holding the middle stack.

Opponent 1: A10
Tyler Schwecke: AA
Opponent 2: AK

"Alright, come on, a bunch of diamonds please," The player holding ace-king begged the universe when he saw he was drawing thin.

Unfortunately for him, the runout came Q2722 to give Schwecke a full house to scoop the pot for almost a triple up. Opponent 1 was eliminated while Opponent 2 was left with barely a big blind.

Tens Are Live

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

After cracking pocket aces with jack-deuce the previous hand to stay alive, Michael Lin moved all in once again, followed closely behind by another player for more. Then Billy Kopp made the call to put them at risk, as he covered them both.

Michael Lin: AK
Opponent: AK
Billy Kopp: A10

"Well, tens are live," table commentator Daniel Negreanu mentioned as the hands were displayed.

Crazily enough, the board ran out 93656 for Kopp to go runner-runner diamonds to scoop the pot, busting both players in the process.

Beretta Makes Sick River Call

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Joaquin Beretta
Joaquin Beretta

There was a late position open to 24,000. The player on the button called and Joaquin Beretta defended his big blind. The players were off to a flop three ways.

The 739 flop landed and play checked around. The 2 hit the turn and Beretta opted to lead for 37,000. The preflop raiser made the call and the button folded.

The A river landed and it seemed that Beretta recognized it was a bad card for him as he slowed down and checked. The late-position player didn't waste more than a few seconds before ripping it in for 107,000 effective.

Beretta immediately looked both suspicious and frustrated. He stayed in the tank for over two minutes before eventually making the call.

The late-position player knuckled the table indicating a good call and flips over Q8 for a missed flush draw and Beretta tabled 109 for second pair and sent the player to the rail.

Action was checked to Cisneros on the 288 flop. He led out for 75,000, getting a call from the button. The turn came 7. Cisneros immediately bet 125,000, and his opponent surrendered the pot.

Madhvami Scores Double Knockout

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After a player opened to 30,000, Terrance Reid moved all in for around 200,000 and was quickly followed up by two more all-ins, the last of which was big stack Neeraj Madhvami. The action was then back on the original raiser who was in the tank for a good while before he painfully made the fold.

The cards were then tabled with Madhvami covering.

Opponent: AQ
Terrance Reid: AQ
Neeraj Madhvami: AK

"Ughhhh noooo! Why did I fold!?" said the player who folded was kicking himself as he admitted to folding pocket jacks.

The board ran out 96J97 for Madhvami and his ace-king high to scoop the entire pot, eliminating both of his opponents in the process.
