Hoffman Down to a Chip and a Chair

Level 21

George Alexander: 983/10376
Max Hoffman: XxXxXx/A578
Brian Yoon: XxXxXx/52JQ
Ben Yu: XxXx/3 - folded bring-in

A short-stacked Max Hoffman completed Ben Yu's bring-in and was called by Brian Yoon and George Alexander.

Hoffman bet fourth and fifth streets, getting called in both spots, then he bet again on sixth and was called by Yoon, but raised by Alexander. Hoffman called with just 85,000 behind, and Yoon mucked his hand.

On seventh, Hoffman checked, and Alexander bet. Hoffman separated the lone T-5,000 chip he would have left from an erroneous potential call.

After some thought, Hoffman made that call and was indeed left with that single chip, as Alexander showed a straight with nine-eight in the hole.
